The Fáilte Ireland / Merrion Square Innovation Network initiative to help position Merrion Square as a leading cultural tourism destination, which MCO Projects worked on in 2012, has been highlighted as one of twenty best practice case studies by the European Commission in their 2013 report Enhancing the Competitiveness of Tourism in the EU.
