Our 4D Academy is a framework for 'action research'. We evaluate the impacts of our completed projects to bring insights to new projects. We also undertake new initiatives on a not-for-profit basis with partners in research, cultural and social entrepreneurship.

Our action-research initiatives include: Resilient Communities Trust; Enable Ireland physiotherapy process mapping; Drimnagh Smarter Travel evaluation; Enterprise Ireland Healthcare Innovation Voucher with DkIT; and IRCSET R&D with DIT. MCO is also working with the Eco-village in Cloughjordan on ideas for the next phase of implementation.
