Based on our unique experience in both healthcare and in the development of environments, M-CO was appointed by Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services to help them create a vision for their future outpatient service offering, and to re-imagine the space to deliver on their ambitions.
Working in a collaborative and iterative way with a core team of management and clinicians, and engaging with a wider group of specialist staff, we developed the service offering, and defined the spaces required to deliver it and to create an improved patient experience.
With the team we reviewed existing patient pathways and data to identify ways to create greater co-ordination and efficiencies. Through a series of workshops with the core team and wider group we defined and tested future demand for outpatient services, and the spaces and facilities that would be needed to deliver them.
The resulting report and recommendations will form the brief for the architects to complete the detailed design.
